  • Talk to someone you trust. It can be helpful to talk to a friend, family member, therapist, or other animal rights activist about your feelings. 
  • Take breaks. It is important to take breaks from animal rights activism, even if it is just for a few hours each week. Do something that you enjoy and that helps you to relax.
  • Connect with other animal rights activists. It can be helpful to connect with other animal rights activists who understand what you are going through. You can join a support group or attend animal rights events.
  • Take care of your physical health. Make sure you are getting enough sleep, eating healthy foods, and exercising regularly. Taking care of your physical health can also help to improve your mental health.
